2010 Sentai: Tensou Sentai Goseiger Rumors

I'm sure the actual suits will look better than the design sketches. Personally I'm looking forward to it (even though I'll be very sad when Shinkenger ends) and can't wait to see the full team and get some more definite details. The idea of having bad guys similar to the good guys sounds great and screams of some kind of cross between Nejiranger/Hanaranger and Rio/Mele. Also when I see that GoseiBlack picture I can't help but think Ohja.

As long as the "Zord" is a lot of fun putting together I'm getting it 100%

I'm definitely going for the changers cause that's what I do. Depending on the quality of the gimmick I might just go for the mecha too, and from what I've seen so far, they look like they could be pretty fun. And if I understand it correctly, that look is something of a cross between the Blocker Robos and the Origami.

It looks like a cross between gekiranger, ohranger, and for the green one it looks like they added the helmet from go-onger gold. If this is what they REALLY are going to look like I 'll take this as a slap in the face.

Well if they use similar designs to Ohranger and add it to the story quality to Gekiranger then I don't see too much of a problem especially since a lot of the rest is different. Cards haven't been used in Sentai since JAKQ and that was really only for suit design and hero naming. Although I do agree with the Go-On Gold thing; I did notice that when I saw it, and that did bother me somewhat. But I still maintain that the final design and the show version will look much better than what we see here. It always does. Case in point: Go-Onger and Shinkenger.

Plus I'm really looking forward to the mecha animals that will be used this year: Dragon - always awesome, Kirin/Giraffe - haven't had since Gaoranger, Unicorn - haven't had since Magiranger and that was only in the movie and 1 episode, Heron - it's a bird, whatever, Fox - similar to Gingat so sounds like it could be good, Cobra/Viper - freakin awesome.

I figured they would do something along the lines of Astrology. Seeing as how they will be in space and all.

I hear that that the mecha or cards or something may have constellations associated with them. I think that's a current rumor, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, because I know that there is a constellation for a unicorn and a dragon/sea serpent but I don't know about the rest.

Well, there are several bird constellations. There's one for a snake. The kirin I'm not sure about, but I think there might be one for a fox or fox-like critter.

At least it's not a car mech.... I'm sure the Goseiger mech will be colorful as hell though.

It depends on what kind of colorful they make it. There's the good kind, and then there's the obnoxious kind.

Well I'm sure it will be bulky! I know that's at least an 80% chance, lol.

Well if it's a bulky in the Shinken-Oh sense or an Engine-Oh sense, then it will be ok. If it's animals that are bulky in the Pegasus and Kirin mecha from Dairanger then it wouldn't be as good (even though I really like Dairanger and DairenOh.

If it is I hope it's like super bulky. Like King Pyramider.

I love King Pyramider. I think it would be cool if they did another combination like King Pyramider's Battle Formation where they all just park themselves inside it or how Dai Mugen can hold Ryuuseioh or Won Tiger.

One thing I think Saban did really well with his adaptation of Super Sentai was that he "linked" the seasons together as to where Super Sentai doesn't really do that. I'd really love to see a season of Sentai where they unearth or reveal an old ass mech and modify or use it in battle.

That would be cool as long as they didn't make it look all stupid like Forever Red's Serpentera, which also seemed to die wwwwaaaayyyy too easy.

Didn't one of the red rangers kick Serpentera and it exploded? And why the hell were Beetle Borgs evil?

It was Cole, possibly the worst actor in PR history, and he used the new falcon motorcycle that Animus had given him in the last episode to fly into it's mouth straight through and out the tail. The Beetleborgs were evil because they needed machine looking villains and the costumes for Shadowborg, Green Hunter Beetleborg, Dragonborg, Ladyborg, and Lightningborg were lying around in a closet somewhere. Incidentally, 3 of them were voiced by Walter Jones (Zack), Katherine Sutherland (Kat), and Archie Kao (Kai).

Wow, I never thought about it that way before, but you're right. He does look like that.
