playing along with the show

has anyone played with their shinkenger toys along with the show? if so, what do you use?

Like, play with your toys while the show is happening?

Um...yes actually. Usually I keep the changers nearby and sometimes the mecha depending on what mood I'm in.

Oh! Not really, I usually mess with my collection at random intervals of the day.

i know that sounds like a stupid question but i keep hearing using imagination with shinkenger toys, isnt that usually has something to do with knowing how to use the toys without using the instructions or from using the instructions then using your imagination?

I mess with them at random times too. It's why I have trouble getting my homework done. For example, my Double stuff just came in (and not the Oreos) and i keep playing with the Gaia memories and moving them like a kid with ADD.

I've never heard anyone say that before.

i think that mechas are meant to be played with the show, like playing with the toy mecha and watching the footage at the same time.

because it seems like most mechas that have gimmicks connects with the show, accept you are doing it manually like a roleplaying weapons and changers

i think that boj knows that most kids would dvr their sentai episodes to be able to play with their toys.

am i right?

I haven't seen a full Sentai, I'll admit that right now. My fandom started with Power Rangers, so I enjoyed watching PR before considering touching a Sentai, as I didn't want to look down if a PR episode did something terribad.

However, watching Kamen Rider, if I own a henshin device or figure from that series, I'll often mess around with it while watching. Just a fun thing to do.

I don't own any henshin device toys for any Sentai or Kamen Rider season but I play along anyway in trying to nail the various movements they do during the henshin.

when i watch the show if i see a cool pose i put my figures in that pose if that counts

Does scratching my own crotch count as playing??

Ok I admit it, there are times I wait till I'm watching the show before I open my latest pruchase. Why? I dunno just seems for fun that way.

HONESTLY~ Yes.. I sometimes had the toy around me just for the mood of enjoying the sentai series.
